Malaysian think obesity not a disease-that's the big problem

The header catch my eyes.. not because I'm obesity but i live & surrounded with those who were obese & think obesity is not a problem...
I really like the way writer telling the point of his/her view
: wwen@thestar.com.my.

Most people who are obese give the excuses like
" it's ok as whole of my family is fat" or;
" Obesity is not like diabetes, heart disease or cancer, where you have to fork out money for medication. If you okay with being obese, you don't need to spend money" or;
" It's just a matter of being fat dude, at least i'm not skinny"...etc..

Malaysian has to woke up and change their attitude toward obesity. We must fighting the obesity before its too late...May be exercise but some expert said the exercise is not a cure for obesity : http://www.drbriffa.com/2006/10/09/why-exercise-is-not-a-cure-for-obesity-and-what-works-better-for-those-seeking-to-shed-weight-in-the-long-term/

or may be losing weight : http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/health_advice/facts/obesity.htm
or may be carbohydrate restriction : http://www.healthnowwealthforever.com/health/how-to-cure-the-obesity-epidemic/
or else you can see your doctor and get his advice..

I'm lucky because I've an ideal body, but then it is still my responsibility to take care of my healthy as now I'm fighting for the high cholesterol.. Being Malaysian will challenge you on your selection of daily intake, nasi lemak, roti canai, traditional kuih/cookies... etc contains a lot and more calories than what our body needs SO...the conclusion, our body is our responsibility. The more you eat the worst you get... so guys and myself... live healthy!
